Key Functions

  1. Preparation of the Annual budget/estimate of the University
  2. Obtaining required funds(Mainly from the Treasury)
  3. Making the authorized payments within the allocations received for various purposes as per the budget and in terms of the prevailing rules and regulations
  4. Preparation and submission of annual financial statements to the Auditor General and other parties as specified by the relevant Acts of Parliament
  5. Procurement and issuance of goods needed to various Departments of the University and looking after the functions of the main stores
