Profile:
Born in 1973, I received my higher education from C.W.W.Kannangara Central College, Matugama. I entered the Faculty of music University of Kelaniya and graduated in 2000 with a first class. Joining the state music band, working as an external lecturer at the university, and working as a school teacher can be mentioned as special occasions. From 1992 I learned folk music and violin from Lionel Ranwala and Dr, Somasiri Ilesinghe. I was appointed as a lecturer at the university of the visual and performing arts in2010 and has been working there ever since.
