Profile:
I was born in Alawwa (Sri Lanka) in 1981. received my BFA. in Multi Disciplinary Design in 2008 from the UVPA (University of the Visual and Performing Arts). In 2012 I joined media unit of the faculty of dance and drama,where I served as research assistant for 1 year and then I joined in to The Department of History and Theory of Dance and Drama as an Instructor . in year 2014 I Was appointed as officer in charge of the media unit and as a course coordinator of the diploma in film and television studies which was conducted by the Centre for Open and Distance Learning (UVPA). In 2017 I joined with The Department of History and Theory of Dance and Drama as a lecture (probationary) position and now working as acting head of the department.
