Profile:

Chameera sampath Wickrama Arachchi, Came from Kurunegala is Specialized in the medium of Graphic Art, in particular Computer graphic, Typography and illustrations. I completed BFA Degree in Visual Communication Design with Distinction pass and Postgraduate Degree MPhil at the University of Visual and Performing Arts, and works as a Senior Lecturer (ii) in the Department of Visual Communication Design. Currently, I am Head of the department in the Visual Communication Design. I had participated in several group exhibitions in local and international. With the realization of multiple roles as a university lecturer, my future intention is to be an effective academic, researcher and to be an effective community service provider with the help of knowledge, guidance and training experiences. That I hope I would be able to confer my knowledge to serve for the development of the university as for the benefit of society.

Research Interests:

Graphic Art, in particular Computer graphic, Typography and illustrations, Contemporary Illustrations, Contemporary Typography, Packaging design, Design layout, Digital art.
