Profile:
Nadeesha Weerasinghe is working as a Probationary Lecturer and she is attached to the Department of Textile and Wearable Arts of the Faculty of Visual Art, University of the Visual and Performing Arts. She has obtained her first degree with first class in Textile and Wearable Arts and reading Master of Philosophy at University of the Visual and Performing Arts. She has been worked as a Temporary Instructor and temporary lecturer, at Faculty of visual arts, Department of Textile and Wearable arts in UVPA.
Further, she is a confident and capable researcher and academic who particularly published conceptual and subjective experimental work with significant expertise in fashion and textile design. She is interested in doing conceptual and practice-based research under fashion and textile technology. Nadeesha is highly experienced in project supervision, concept development, creative pattern making method and studio work.
Research Interests:
Interesting in doing conceptual and practice-based research under fashion and textile technology (especially on coloration, finishing of textile and product development).
