Department of Multi Disciplinary Design
In the modern era, design has evolved far beyond mere surface decoration or the ornamentation of traditional objects. At the Department of Multi-Disciplinary Design, we define “Design” as the intentional act of creating solutions that fulfill human needs. Our curriculum is built on the belief that a designer must be a critical problem-solver. We train our students to evaluate complex challenges, source appropriate materials, and develop creative visual solutions. Today’s design landscape is a convergence of fine arts, applied arts, technology, social value systems, and economics. We prepare our students to navigate this complexity with a formative and holistic approach.
