Profile:

Kamani Samarasinghe is a Senior Lecturer in the IT Unit at the University of the Visual & Performing Arts Colombo where she has been a faculty member since 2006. She is the Centre for Open and Distance Learning (CODL) Director. She is also member of Sports Advisory committee. Kamani completed her Mphil and MSc in Computer Science. at Post Graduate Institute of Science (PGIS), University of Peradeniya Sri Lanka and her undergraduate studies at University of Kelaniya. Her research interests lie in the area of distance education teaching and learning, datamining, E-learning, Knowledge management.
