The university provides research grants for its eligible academic and administrative staff members to conduct innovative, high-impact research, aiming to foster the research culture amongst the staff members within the university and with local and international collaborative research institutes.
The Research and Creative Works Development Division maintains records and handles research-related activities in the university. The University Research Management Committee, International Research Symposiums, and other research-related activities are organized by the division.
The main tasks of the Research and Creative Works Development Division are as follows.
- Payment of research allowance
- Coordinating Research Management Committee meeting
- University Research Fund
- Research Grants
- Foreign Travel Grants
- Index-Journal Grants
- Conducting of International Research Symposium
- Coordinating International Research Symposium organizing committee meetings.
- Preparation of symposium proceedings.
The Deputy Registrar administers the division by the university’s legislative constitution and established administrative structures. The Deputy Registrar reports to the Vice Chancellor and Registrar. When carrying out its responsibilities, the Division works internally with the Registrar, Bursar, and other divisions, as well as with external parties.
In addition to the tasks allocated, the RCWD manages the administrative functions of the following centers:
